Use a D6 for routine tasks, a D10 for magic and special outcomes, and a D20 for complex actions like combat and pursuits, which demand more detailed results. Success is determined by comparing dice rolls to target numbers set by the Game Master.
Characters have four main attributes: Strength (STR), Dexterity (DEX), Intelligence (INT), and Charisma (CHA). Roll a D6 for each attribute's value. Start with Health Points (HP) equal to 10 plus the STR modifier.
Gain experience points (XP) for achievements. Level up by increasing one attribute by 1 and HP by a roll of a D6.
During a chase, both the pursuer and the pursued roll a D20 adding DEX modifier. Continue rolling each round. The pursuit ends when the pursuer catches up, the pursued escapes, or an external factor intervenes.
Cast spells by rolling a D10. Success and effects vary with the roll: 1-3 fails with consequences, 4-7 succeeds, 8-10 produces enhanced effects. Mana Points are twice the INT score.
Characters can carry medieval/RPG gear. Carrying capacity is determined by STR plus five items.
Attempt to charm a guard by rolling a D20 plus CHA modifier against the guard's disposition. Success means the guard is charmed; failure results in suspicion.
